Here coffee doesn't arrive in a bag: it grows in front of you. You walk the land where it's grown, learn to read its nuances and stay for the moment we named the farm after — the sunset.
You walk among the Castillo variety coffee plants with the person who grows them. You see the natural shade, the ripening bean and understand why altitude changes everything.
A guided tasting to name what you feel: chocolate, orange, panela. You learn to brew the same coffee you tasted, with your hands and without haste.
We close the day at the lookout, cup in hand, as the sky takes on the brand's colors. The only sound is birdsong.
Reference times. The day adapts to the mountain's light and weather, never the other way around.
We pick you up in Medellín or San Antonio de Prado; you just reach the meeting point.
The bean you taste today was grown steps from your table.
We taste together and you learn a brewing method to take home. Coffee stops being a product and becomes a ritual.
All included in your rate; you just sit down to eat.
You leave with a new skill and repeat it in your kitchen tomorrow.
Cheese-making, cocktails, fonda, art or hammock: five paths, one is yours.
The whole journey was pointing to this.
Fire, stories, and an ending you didn't want to arrive.
From sunrise to sunset, without lifting a finger.
We're in Armenia Mantequilla, Antioquia, about 90 minutes from Medellín. You can come in your own vehicle or ask us to arrange transport with our partner; we send you the exact location and directions when you confirm the booking.
Not at all. The experience is designed both for beginners and for the curious home barista. You go at the group's pace and take home a brewing method you can repeat at home.
The mountain has its own weather and that's part of the charm too. The tour and tasting are lived just the same; if the sunset hides, the warmth of the farm doesn't. In case of heavy rain we reschedule at no cost.
Yes for families; children enjoy the countryside and the sunset. We work with small groups (up to 10 people) to protect the experience. For larger or private groups, write to us and we'll tailor it for you.
Glamping at the farm is on its way. If you want to extend the pause and wake up at the origin, tell us when booking and we'll let you know as soon as we open lodging dates.
Small groups, limited spots. You secure your day at Finca Atardeceres and we take care of the rest.
